As of this week the website is going along well. With some cool additions to website, mainly in the form of widgets. These widgets focus’s on the weather, calorie burning to check how many calories you are burning during your workout sessions. The third widget we are using is an ESPN widget that show us current articles and scores from ESPN. These can all be essential to current athletites using the site.
Next week or by the end of next week i plan on start designing the remaining pages for the website, to reach the 5 page minimum. What i hope to do is have a page with the schedule up on one page and page just for the captains of the team to show there expectations and goals for the season as well as a place were they can post captains practices.

So for the week of 5/12 to 5/16 we started putting the addition of widgets to are project blogs. We used widgets from google and widgetbox. As of right now i have added about three widgets to by project blog and about two blogs on my own blog to test so things that might be useful to my project site.

As of right now my project is going strong and is on the right track so far. This week i starting getting the basics set up. By establishing a theme and putting the necessary widgets to make the site easier for people to use. Right now i am looking for new cool widgets that are useful.
Soon in plan to start setting up a schedule of the season starting working on tutorial videos. To show students how to conduct certain events in Track & Field. Hopefully some can encourage some students to join and participate in those events.
My long term goals for the website is to develop a Track Tutorial on certain events. Also i want to get the website further, then it is right now. I think with a little elbow grease and some free time at my computer i can get this website to were it needs to be. I also need to make sure that site can be some usefull information on the track website.
